PolyNet Ltd. has successfully completed a major network synchronisation system extension project at its existing client Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC).

After six years of cooperation on the field of network synchronisation, PolyNet successfully completed the implementation project of PTP Grandmaster servers to make BTC’s network compliant with the latest synchronization standards.
The contracted system implementation project is an upgrade and extension of the initial synchronization system development carried out by PolyNet in year 2012. This system upgrade and extension with IEEE1588 PTP Grandmaster clocks is in line with BTC’s network and service developments and it ensures to optimize the network performance and service quality. Within the current project 9 units of PTPGM1010 PTP Grandmasters were implemented and integrated into the existing system.
